About Alyson Maupin
Serving as Your Personal Real Estate Agent, I will cater to you and to your specific real estate needs. People who are in the process of buying or selling property often find that their lives are in a type of limbo and they may by under a lot of stress. My job is to relieve that stress as much as possible by being available and responsive, by offering friendly, yet professional service, and by coordinating all the moving parts of a transaction to get it successfully closed as seamlessly and quickly as possible. Whether you are a first time home buyer, a seasoned real estate investor, or an owner with property to sell, I have the skill set, the work ethic, the tenacity, and the contacts to get the job done.I am passionate about the real estate business because I am passionate about people, specifically about finding out what people need and want, and helping them get it. I love matching individuals and families with homes and neighborhoods (or land) that best suit their needs. This serves BOTH buyers and sellers. My favorite part is when the transaction is closed and my clients are free to move on and enjoy the next phase of their lives. What a joy!
A Little Bit about me: I grew up in a small town in North Carolina. After graduating from UNC, I moved to Charlottesville, and I fell in love with a local boy and I've been here ever since. That was in 1985! That "local boy" and I have two children: a daughter in grad school at UVA who is on the UVA basketball team, and a son at Liberty who is on the LU lacrosse team. When I'm not watching college sports, I enjoy playing tennis, and reading & writing. I also enjoy dining at Charlottesville's locally owned restaurants, shopping at local boutiques and vendors, and tasting wine at our many area wineries.
I have lived, worked, volunteered, and been a part of this community for over 35 years. I can help you answer questions about things from schools & neighborhoods, to doctors & auto repairmen, to farmland & gated communities.
